Rhinoplasty at Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute is led by a panel of 11 ABPS board-certified surgeons, with particular depth of expertise from Dr. Rod J. Rohrich, the founding member of DPSI and one of the most cited plastic surgeons in the world in this field. Dr. Rohrich created the Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting — the world's largest rhinoplasty symposium — and has personally trained over 15,000 surgeons in advanced nasal techniques. Additional rhinoplasty expertise is provided by Dr. Yash Avashia and Dr. Tara Chadab, both fellowship-trained at leading institutions including Cornell, Columbia, and UT Southwestern. DPSI offers the full spectrum of rhinoplasty approaches: open rhinoplasty via a small trans-columellar incision is preferred for complex structural changes requiring direct visualisation of the cartilaginous framework; closed rhinoplasty uses entirely intranasal incisions for cases with more limited goals and patients prioritising the absence of any external scar. Nasal tip refinement — reducing bulbosity, improving projection, and correcting rotation — is a particular area of DPSI's expertise. Dorsal hump reduction addresses an overprojected nasal bridge, while spreader grafts preserve or restore internal nasal valve function after reduction. Alar base reduction narrows flared nostrils to harmonise with the refined tip. Septoplasty to correct a deviated septum that causes functional airflow obstruction can be performed concurrently with cosmetic rhinoplasty. DPSI also accepts revision rhinoplasty cases where previous surgery produced unsatisfactory results. All procedures are performed at the AAAASF-accredited Dallas Day Surgery Center co-located at the Pyramids Medical Building. Dallas market average for primary rhinoplasty is approximately $8,700; DPSI's multi-surgeon group and premium credentials place it at or above this benchmark. Consultation required for all rhinoplasty pricing.
