EZGel PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) at EpiCentre Skin Care Center uses the patient's own concentrated platelets and growth factors as a natural bio-filler and collagen stimulator. Blood is drawn on-site, centrifuged to concentrate platelets and fibrin, and injected to restore facial volume and improve skin quality. No synthetic materials. Also combinable with SkinPen microneedling for topical PRF delivery.
EZGel PRF at EpiCentre Skin Care Center is a next-generation platelet-rich fibrin treatment that uses the patient's own blood-derived growth factors as a natural, autologous bio-filler and skin rejuvenator. Unlike platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is a liquid preparation, EZGel PRF is processed at a lower centrifugation speed and without anticoagulants, producing a gelatin-like fibrin matrix rich in platelets, leukocytes, and concentrated growth factors including PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), TGF-β (transforming growth factor beta), VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), and EGF (epidermal growth factor). This gel consistency allows EZGel to be injected like a conventional dermal filler to restore volume in the tear trough, nasolabial folds, cheeks, lips, and hands, while simultaneously delivering a sustained release of growth factors that stimulate fibroblast activity and new collagen synthesis over weeks. Because EZGel is derived entirely from the patient's own blood, it carries no risk of allergic reaction or foreign body response — a meaningful distinction from synthetic hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite fillers for patients who prefer an entirely natural approach. The procedure begins with a simple blood draw, processed by centrifuge in approximately 10–12 minutes at EpiCentre's in-clinic equipment; the resulting EZGel is then injected using fine cannulas or needles depending on the target area. Treatment sessions take approximately 45–60 minutes in total including preparation. Results develop progressively over four to eight weeks as collagen stimulation matures; multiple sessions three to six months apart are commonly recommended for maintained improvement. EZGel PRF is also offered in combination with SkinPen microneedling, where the PRF is topically applied during the microneedling session to enhance penetration of growth factors through the microchannels created by the needles.
