Morpheus8 at DPSI's EpiCentre Skin Care Center is one of the practice's most popular non-surgical skin treatments, combining microneedling with fractional radiofrequency (RF) energy to deliver controlled thermal injury to the dermis and subdermis at adjustable depths of up to 8mm. The Morpheus8 device (InMode) uses a matrix of 24 coated gold pins that penetrate the skin to a programmable depth; at the target depth, bipolar RF energy is discharged around each pin to heat collagen fibres and the fibroseptal network of the subcutaneous layer, triggering a wound-healing response that remodels existing collagen and stimulates new collagen and elastin synthesis. Unlike surface laser treatments, Morpheus8 delivers its primary thermal energy below the epidermal layer, making it safe for a wider range of skin tones (Fitzpatrick types I–VI) with a lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Treatment areas include the face (jowls, nasolabial folds, cheeks, forehead, neck), décolletage, abdomen, inner arms, and inner thighs. On the face, Morpheus8 is used to tighten the lower face and jawline, improve skin texture and pore size, soften acne scars, and reduce fine lines. On the body, it is used to address laxity in the abdomen and arms where a non-surgical option is preferred. The procedure is performed under topical anaesthetic cream and takes approximately 45–60 minutes depending on the area. Mild redness, swelling, and pinpoint crusting are expected for one to three days post-treatment. Three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart are typically recommended for full results; results develop progressively over three months as new collagen matures.
