Chemical peels at EpiCentre Skin Care Center address sun damage, fine lines, uneven skin tone, and acne scarring using superficial, medium-depth, and deep peel formulations. DPSI's proprietary EpiPeel is a customised superficial peel available for all skin types. Medium TCA peels and deep peels performed under physician supervision for more significant resurfacing. Minimal to moderate downtime depending on peel depth.
Chemical peels at EpiCentre Skin Care Center — DPSI's medical aesthetics division — are available at three depths of resurfacing, each targeting a different degree of skin change and requiring a different recovery period. Superficial peels penetrate only the outermost layer of the epidermis, accelerating cell turnover to improve skin texture, mild hyperpigmentation, and dullness; EpiCentre's proprietary EpiPeel is a customised superficial peel formulated for the practice and available for most skin types. There is minimal social downtime — mild flaking for two to three days — making superficial peels compatible with regular treatment intervals of two to four weeks for an accumulated improvement programme. Medium-depth peels using trichloroacetic acid (TCA) at 20–35% penetrate through the full epidermis and into the papillary dermis, achieving visible improvement in fine lines, sun damage, melasma, and superficial acne scars; recovery involves five to seven days of peeling, redness, and avoidance of sun exposure. Deep peels — including phenol-based formulations — penetrate into the reticular dermis and provide the most dramatic, long-lasting resurfacing results for deep wrinkles, significant photodamage, and severe acne scarring; they require pre-treatment skin conditioning with retinoids and hydroquinone, sedation or anaesthesia during the procedure, and a recovery of ten to fourteen days with careful wound care. Deep chemical peels are performed under physician supervision at EpiCentre given their clinical intensity. EpiCentre also offers the Forever Clear BBL and Halo laser as energy-based alternatives to chemical peeling for patients preferring laser resurfacing. Chemical peels can be layered with other treatments such as dermaplaning, HydraFacial MD, and SkinPen microneedling for combination protocols. Dallas market range: superficial $150–$250, medium $300–$500.
