Tooth Extraction & Oral Surgery

Type

Extraction

Duration

45 min

When a tooth cannot be saved, Cuprumdent offers extractions ranging from straightforward removals to surgical procedures, including impacted wisdom teeth handled by a maxillofacial surgeon. Pricing reflects complexity, from a simple extraction up to a difficult impacted molar. Having an oral surgeon on the team means harder cases are managed in-house, with suturing and clear aftercare. A consultation assesses the tooth and the best approach.

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth that is too damaged, decayed, loose or impacted to keep. While many teeth come out simply, others — broken-down roots, or wisdom teeth wedged against the bone or neighbouring teeth — need a surgical approach, and Cuprumdent's maxillofacial surgeon manages these more demanding cases. After assessment, often with the clinic's in-house panoramic or CT imaging, the area is fully numbed. A simple extraction loosens and lifts the tooth out, while a surgical extraction may involve a small incision in the gum and sometimes sectioning the tooth to remove it gently, followed by sutures. The clinic prices treatment by difficulty, from straightforward single-root teeth up to deeply impacted third molars. Related surgical procedures such as root-end resection are also offered. You are given clear aftercare instructions to support healing and reduce the chance of complications, and the team can plan ahead for replacing the tooth — for example with an implant — where appropriate. The surgeon will explain the specific procedure, anaesthesia, expected recovery and any risks for your case before going ahead, and discuss options for managing anxiety where needed.
