An all-ceramic crown is a tooth-shaped cap that restores a damaged, heavily filled or root-treated tooth, made in Emax glass-ceramic or Cercon zirconia for strength and a natural look. Cuprumdent prepares the tooth, takes impressions and works with established Polish laboratories to build the crown, fitting a temporary in the meantime. Crowns are also used to complete implant and bridge work, with shade matched to neighbouring teeth.
A dental crown is a custom restoration that fits over the whole visible part of a tooth, rebuilding its shape, strength and appearance when a filling is no longer enough — for example after a large cavity, a fracture or root canal treatment. Cuprumdent makes its crowns from all-ceramic materials: Emax lithium-disilicate glass-ceramic, valued for its lifelike translucency on front teeth, and Cercon zirconia, chosen for its strength on back teeth and longer-span work. Treatment usually takes two visits. At the first, the dentist shapes the tooth, records a digital or conventional impression and matches the shade to the surrounding teeth, then fits a temporary crown to protect it. The clinic's partner laboratories craft the final crown, which is checked for fit, bite and colour before being bonded into place at the second visit. The same all-ceramic crowns are used to restore implants and to anchor bridges where teeth are missing. Metal-free ceramic crowns are often preferred for their appearance and biocompatibility. As with any restoration, longevity depends on the underlying tooth, bite forces and oral hygiene, and the dentist will discuss the most suitable material and design for each tooth at the planning appointment.
