The Lutronic eCO2 is a fractional carbon-dioxide (CO2) laser that delivers energy into the skin in a grid of microscopic treatment columns, leaving the surrounding tissue untouched. This fractional approach is associated with a strong collagen-remodelling response that smooths texture, softens fine lines, improves the appearance of acne scarring and stretch marks, refines pores and evens tone, while the intact bridges of skin between columns support faster healing than older fully ablative resurfacing. At Cuerpo Estetico the skin is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes for the face. Afterwards the skin feels warm and looks flushed, with mild swelling and a sandpaper-like texture for several days as it renews, and diligent moisturising and sun protection are essential during recovery. Because collagen remodelling is gradual, results continue to develop over the following weeks to months, and a small number of sessions may be advised for deeper scarring or stretch marks.
