General Cardiological Check-up

This programme provides a functional assessment of cardiovascular health focused on electrical activity, rhythm stability, and exercise response — the clinical domains that reveal the most common cardiac abnormalities in asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic individuals.

The resting ECG captures the heart's electrical pattern at baseline, identifying conduction abnormalities, chamber enlargement signs, and ischaemic changes. The cardiac stress test extends this assessment to exercise conditions, monitoring ECG, blood pressure, and symptoms during progressively increasing physical demand. Exercise-induced changes that are absent at rest are a hallmark of coronary artery disease and exercise-related arrhythmias.

The Holter or cardiac event monitor component adds continuous rhythm recording, typically over 24 hours. This captures intermittent arrhythmias — palpitations, brief episodes of rapid or irregular heartbeat, and pauses — that may not occur during the limited window of a resting ECG or stress test.
