Microneedling with Chemical Peel

A combined session pairing a chemical peel with microneedling to refresh skin texture, tone and radiance. This treatment combines two complementary skin-renewal techniques in one appointment. A chemical peel uses a controlled solution to loosen and shed the outermost layer of dull, tired skin cells, encouraging brighter, smoother skin underneath. Microneedling then uses a cluster of fine needles to create thousands of precise micro-channels; these tiny, controlled injuries trigger the skin's natural repair response and prompt fresh collagen and elastin, while also allowing serums to absorb more effectively. At CME the skin is cleansed and a numbing cream applied before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the area. Afterwards the skin is typically pink and may feel tight, like mild sunburn, for a day or two as it renews, after which it looks fresher and, over the following weeks, smoother and more even in tone. The combination is well suited to uneven texture, enlarged pores, dullness, fine lines and superficial pigmentation, and can be focused on one area such as the face or extended to two areas. As the effect is cumulative, a course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart gives the best outcome, and diligent sun protection afterwards is essential. The treatment is avoided over active acne, infection or broken skin and in pregnancy; the clinician confirms suitability and selects an appropriate peel strength at consultation.
