PRP/PRF Therapy

Duration

Platelet-rich plasma uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which is then applied to the skin to support its natural renewal. Because it is drawn entirely from you, it is well tolerated and a natural option for improving skin quality. At CME Anti-Aging it is offered for the face, neck and décolletage, and works best as a short course.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a regenerative skin treatment that uses your own blood's components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which carry growth factors that signal tissue repair. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin or applied during microneedling to support tone, texture and firmness. The clinic also offers a fibrin (I-PRF) variant, a slower-spun preparation that forms a natural scaffold releasing those factors more gradually. At CME Anti-Aging in Stargard the process — blood draw, preparation and treatment — takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with numbing cream applied for comfort. Because the material is entirely your own, there is no risk of an allergic reaction to a foreign substance, which is part of why PRP appeals to patients who prefer a natural approach. Expect mild redness or small bruises for a day or two. Results build gradually as the skin renews over several weeks, so a course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart is usually recommended, with occasional maintenance afterwards. PRP is well suited to dull or tired skin and can be focused on the face alone or extended to the neck and décolletage, which the clinic prices separately. It pairs naturally with microneedling for a stronger effect. Suitability is assessed beforehand; it is not performed in pregnancy or in certain blood or clotting conditions, and individual response varies.
