A fractional CO2 laser that resurfaces the skin in microscopic columns to improve texture, fine lines, scarring and tone. At CME Anti-Aging it can be focused on the face, neck, décolletage or specific scars and stretch marks. The fractional approach treats a grid of tiny zones while leaving surrounding skin intact, and a short course typically gives the most even improvement.

About this treatment

The fractional CO2 laser delivers energy into the skin in a grid of microscopic treatment zones, leaving the skin between them untouched. This fractional pattern is associated with a strong renewal response that may smooth texture, soften fine lines, improve the look of scarring and even out tone, while the untreated bridges of skin allow recovery to be quicker than with fully ablative resurfacing of the whole surface.

At CME Anti-Aging in Stargard the skin is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes for the face. Afterwards the skin feels warm and looks flushed, with mild swelling and a sandpaper-like texture for a few days as it renews; most people return to normal activities fairly quickly with careful moisturising and sun protection.
