A custom tooth-coloured crown built on a strong zirconia core to rebuild a heavily damaged, broken or root-treated tooth, or to cap a single implant. At CIISE the all-ceramic zirconia crown is chosen for its strength and natural translucency, making it well suited to visible front teeth as well as load-bearing back teeth. A more economical porcelain-fused-to-metal option is also offered, with a temporary crown worn while the final restoration is made.
About this treatment
A dental crown is a custom-made cap that fully covers a tooth to restore its shape, strength and appearance when too much natural structure has been lost for a filling — for example after a large fracture, extensive decay or root-canal treatment — or to finish an implant.
