At CIISE the whitening gel is applied and activated under controlled conditions by the dental team in a single appointment, brightening the natural teeth more quickly than at-home products. A professional clean beforehand helps achieve an even result, and the dentist checks suitability first.
About this treatment
Professional teeth whitening lightens the natural shade of the teeth by using a peroxide-based gel to break down stains and discolouration that build up from food, drinks, tobacco and ageing. The BEYOND WhiteSpa system used at CIISE is an in-office method: the gums and lips are protected, the whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated, and the process is supervised by the dental team so it is carried out safely and evenly in a single visit.
Before whitening, the clinic recommends a professional clean to remove plaque and surface deposits so the gel works uniformly, and the dentist examines the teeth and gums to confirm whitening is appropriate — untreated decay, gum disease or certain restorations may need attention first. Whitening changes only the colour of natural tooth enamel; it does not lighten existing crowns, veneers or fillings, so timing around any planned restorative work matters…
