The NovoTHOR emits light at two wavelengths: 633 nm (red light) and 830 nm (near-infrared light). Red light at 633 nm penetrates to the superficial dermis and may support mitochondrial function in skin cells, fibroblast activity, and local anti-inflammatory signalling. Near-infrared light at 830 nm penetrates more deeply into subcutaneous tissue, muscle, and potentially even bone, where it may support mitochondrial ATP production in deeper tissues, reduce inflammatory mediators, and support recovery of fatigued or injured muscle tissue.
