A dental cone-beam CT (CBCT) scan produces a detailed 3D image of the teeth, jaws and surrounding structures, used for planning implants, assessing impacted teeth and diagnosing complex cases. Chodyra Clinic carries out CBCT, panoramic and cephalometric imaging in its own on-site digital radiology lab, so scans are available without a separate referral and feed directly into treatment planning.

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a specialised dental scan that captures the teeth, jawbone, nerves and sinuses in three dimensions at a much lower radiation dose than a medical CT. The 3D view gives information that flat X-rays cannot — accurate bone height and width for implant planning, the precise position of impacted or unerupted teeth, the shape of root canals, and the relationship of teeth to the nerve canal and sinus cavities — making it a key diagnostic tool for surgery, implantology, endodontics and orthodontics. Chodyra Clinic operates its own modern digital radiology laboratory equipped with cone-beam CT alongside panoramic and cephalometric imaging, so scans are taken on site and reviewed immediately as part of the clinic's diagnostic-led approach to safe treatment. A full jaw CBCT covers the whole arch for comprehensive planning, while a segmental scan focuses on a smaller region — for example a single implant site or a problem tooth — at a lower cost. Panoramic and cephalometric X-rays are also available for general assessment and orthodontic analysis. Having imaging in-house means implant, surgical and complex cases can be planned accurately in one place, and patients travelling from abroad can have diagnosis and treatment coordinated during the same visit.
