A fractional CO2 laser that resurfaces the skin in microscopic columns to improve texture, fine lines, scarring and tone. Because it treats fractionally, surrounding skin is left intact to speed recovery compared with fully ablative resurfacing. Treatment can be focused on the whole face, neck, décolleté or a single area, with a platelet-rich plasma add-on to support healing. Best results come from a planned approach with strict sun protection.

About this treatment

The Mona Lisa fractional CO2 laser delivers energy into the skin in a grid of microscopic treatment zones, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This fractional approach is associated with a strong collagen-remodelling response that can smooth texture, soften fine lines, improve scarring and even out tone, while the untreated bridges of skin between zones allow faster recovery than older fully ablative resurfacing.
