Dental Implant (Single Tooth)

Type

Dental Implants

Duration

1 hour

A titanium dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth, providing a stable foundation for a crown without involving the neighbouring teeth. At ChilliDent the implant is placed surgically by an implantology-trained dentist using on-site CBCT planning, with a choice of MIS, Neodent, ROOTT or Straumann systems to suit different budgets and clinical needs. The fee covers the surgical placement of the implant fixture; the final crown that sits on top is quoted separately so you can choose the restoration that fits.

A single dental implant is a small titanium post that is placed into the jawbone to take the place of a natural tooth root. Over the following weeks it integrates with the surrounding bone, creating a firm anchor onto which a custom crown can later be fixed. Because the implant stands on its own, the adjacent healthy teeth are left untouched — unlike a conventional bridge, which relies on grinding down the teeth on either side of the gap. At ChilliDent, treatment begins with an assessment and CBCT scan taken on the clinic's own imaging unit, which lets the implantologist judge bone volume and plan the position precisely. The surgical placement itself is carried out under local anaesthetic and is usually well tolerated. The clinic works with several implant systems — MIS and Neodent at the standard tier, ROOTT, and Straumann as a premium option — so the choice can be matched to the site and to your preferences. After placement, a healing period typically allows the implant to integrate before the final crown is attached at a later visit; a temporary crown can be provided in the meantime where appropriate. Implants are generally suited to adults who have finished growing, have healthy gums and enough supporting bone, with any grafting needs identified during planning. The published fee here covers the implant surgery; the zirconia or porcelain crown that completes the tooth is priced separately. Your dentist will confirm suitability, the total plan and any contraindications before starting.
