A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a small titanium post placed in the jawbone, which acts as a root for a crown fitted on top. Led by the clinic's implantologist and oral surgeon and planned with on-site imaging, an implant restores chewing and appearance without altering the neighbouring teeth. Where bone is insufficient, the surgical team offers sinus-lift and bone-regeneration procedures to prepare the site.

A dental implant is a long-term way to replace one or more missing teeth. A biocompatible titanium post is placed into the jawbone where the tooth root used to be; over the following weeks it integrates with the surrounding bone to form a stable anchor, onto which a custom crown is later fitted. At Centrum Stomatologiczne Legnica implant treatment is led by Dr hab. n. med. Paweł Kubasiewicz, a specialist dental surgeon and implantologist, and is planned with the centre's on-site X-ray diagnostics so the position, angle and depth suit the available bone and bite. The process begins with an assessment of the gap, the neighbouring teeth and the quantity and quality of bone. The implant is then placed under local anaesthetic in the dedicated surgical room, followed by a healing period before the final zirconia crown — a strong, tooth-coloured restoration — is attached. A key advantage over a conventional bridge is that an implant stands on its own, so healthy adjacent teeth do not need to be trimmed down, and it helps preserve the jawbone that tends to shrink after a tooth is lost. Where there is not enough bone to begin with, the surgical team offers procedures to build the site up first: a closed or open sinus lift in the upper back jaw, and guided bone regeneration around the implant. Treatment is suited to adults with a missing tooth or teeth and healthy gums; the surgeon reviews general health, smoking and any contraindications, and sets out the full sequence, timeline and costs at consultation.
