About this treatment
Veneers are slim, tooth-coloured ceramic facings bonded to the visible surface of the front teeth to change their colour, shape, size or position. They are a popular way to address discoloured, worn, chipped, slightly crooked or unevenly spaced teeth, and because only a thin layer of the tooth's front surface is usually prepared, they can deliver a noticeable cosmetic change while remaining conservative compared with full crowns.
At Centrum ELLMED veneers begin with a consultation to discuss the desired shade and shape and to confirm the teeth are healthy enough. The front surfaces are lightly prepared, an impression or scan is taken, and the porcelain veneers are crafted in the clinic's laboratory before being bonded into place; temporary veneers can be worn in between where needed.
