Removal of a non-wisdom tooth that is too damaged by decay, fracture or gum disease to save, or that needs to come out for another dental reason. Centrum ELLMED carries out extractions under local anaesthetic, with a price band by tooth type. The clinic's overall philosophy favours keeping natural teeth, so extraction is recommended when restoring the tooth is no longer realistic.

A tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth that cannot reasonably be restored — for example one broken below the gum, severely decayed, badly cracked or loosened by advanced gum disease — or that must be removed for orthodontic or prosthetic reasons. While Centrum ELLMED's approach prioritises preserving natural teeth wherever possible because they make the best foundation for future restorations, there are situations where taking a tooth out is the most sensible step, and doing so promptly can prevent ongoing pain or spreading infection. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic so the area is fully numbed; standard anaesthesia is 60 zł, with a computer-controlled option for 40 zł more for patients who prefer it. Front teeth and premolars are generally more straightforward and are priced between 500 and 670 zł depending on difficulty, while molars are 790 zł; sutures are added at 120 zł where the socket benefits from stitching. After the tooth is removed the dentist gives detailed aftercare guidance to help the socket heal cleanly and discusses options for replacing the gap later — such as an implant, bridge or denture — so function and appearance can be restored.
