A titanium dental implant placed in the jaw to replace a single missing tooth, providing a stable foundation for a crown without involving the neighbouring teeth. Centrum ELLMED uses the MIS implant system and plans cases with in-house CBCT imaging. The 3,500 zł fee covers placement of the implant fixture; the healing screw and final crown are added separately, and larger multi-implant plans are quoted after assessment.
About this treatment
Replacing a missing tooth with an implant involves placing a small titanium screw into the jawbone, where it integrates with the bone over several months to act as an artificial tooth root. Once healed, this root is restored with an abutment and a crown, giving a fixed replacement that functions much like a natural tooth and, unlike a conventional bridge, does not require grinding down the adjacent healthy teeth.
At Centrum ELLMED the process begins with an examination and CBCT (3D) imaging to assess bone volume and plan the implant position accurately. The clinic works with the MIS implant system and carries out the surgical placement under local anaesthetic; a standard or individual healing screw is fitted, and after the integration period the tooth is rebuilt with an abutment and crown chosen to match the rest of the smile.
