Salmon DNA PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a biological skin regeneration injectable derived from salmon sperm DNA. Applied across the full face via mesotherapy microinjections, it stimulates tissue repair, promotes neovascularisation, reduces pigmentation, and improves skin tone and elasticity through cellular growth factor activation.
Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) is a bioactive compound extracted and purified from salmon (Oncorhynchus keta) sperm DNA. The extracted DNA fragments — ranging from 50 to 2000 base pairs — share approximately 97% structural homology with human DNA, making them highly biocompatible with minimal immunogenic risk. PDRN stimulates tissue regeneration through two primary mechanisms: activation of adenosine A2A receptors (which triggers fibroblast proliferation, VEGF expression, and angiogenesis) and supply of nucleotide precursors via the salvage pathway for accelerated DNA repair and new cell production. When delivered into the dermis via mesotherapy microinjections across the full face, PDRN produces a cascade of regenerative effects. Fibroblast activation increases collagen and elastin synthesis, improving skin firmness and reducing the appearance of fine lines. VEGF upregulation promotes the formation of new blood vessels (neovascularisation), improving nutrient and oxygen supply to dermal tissue — one of the factors responsible for the increased luminosity and skin tone evenness that patients commonly report after a PDRN course. PDRN also exerts anti-inflammatory effects through A2A receptor agonism, making it useful in sensitised, rosacea-prone, or post-procedure skin. The full-face protocol at CBP Klinika Brno delivers PDRN across all major facial zones — forehead, temples, periorbital area, cheeks, nasolabial folds, perioral area, and chin — using a series of small intradermal or subdermal injection points. This systematic coverage ensures that regenerative signalling is distributed throughout the face rather than concentrated in isolated areas. A standard treatment course consists of three to six sessions at weekly or bi-weekly intervals. Results accumulate progressively over the course: skin hydration improves noticeably after the first two sessions, while improvements in elasticity and pigmentation become apparent from session three onward. The procedure involves minor injection discomfort; topical anaesthetic cream can be applied prior. Redness and small injection papules resolve within a few hours.
