The scanner is housed at the Mokotow campus alongside the hospital's orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation departments, meaning imaging findings can be discussed directly with the treating surgeon when clinically relevant. This integrated workflow is particularly valuable for sports medicine cases where MRI findings directly inform surgical planning — for example, ACL tear grading, rotator cuff tear sizing, or meniscal tear classification. Common indications include knee injuries (meniscus, cruciate ligaments, cartilage), shoulder pathology (rotator cuff, labral tears), spine assessment (disc herniation, stenosis), and hip joint evaluation.
