The 1.5-Tesla field strength delivers reliable diagnostic image quality for the vast majority of clinical indications. Scan duration varies by body region but typically ranges from 20 to 45 minutes. Results are reported by an experienced radiologist and can be forwarded to your referring physician or used for self-pay follow-up at Capio's specialist departments. A practical advantage of Capio's pricing structure is the 25% discount on a second region scanned during the same appointment. For patients with bilateral complaints (both knees, both shoulders) or multiple areas of concern, this represents a meaningful saving compared to booking separate sessions. Intravenous contrast medium is available as a supplement at DKK 950 when enhanced tissue characterisation is clinically indicated. The base price of DKK 2,670 is subject to a 5% patient insurance surcharge that applies to all diagnostic imaging services at Capio (distinct from the health examination packages, which are exempt). This is standard practice among Danish private hospitals and covers mandatory patient injury insurance.
