The Premium Health Examination builds on the Essential package by adding two diagnostic dimensions that significantly improve cardiovascular and endocrine risk assessment. Doppler ultrasound of the carotid arteries measures intima-media thickness and screens for atherosclerotic plaque — both established predictors of future stroke and coronary events that can be present years before symptoms appear. The thyroid ultrasound screens for nodules, cysts, and structural abnormalities that blood tests alone cannot detect. The Seismofit cardiopulmonary fitness assessment provides an objective measure of cardiovascular capacity through a non-invasive, resting-state protocol.
