CT (computed tomography) scanning at Capio Privathospital provides rapid cross-sectional imaging that excels at visualising bony structures, detecting lung pathology, and characterising certain soft-tissue abnormalities. The standard CT covers a wide range of anatomical regions at a single base price: brain, skull, face, chest, clavicle, sternum, cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine, neck, coccyx, bones and joints, and pelvis.

CT produces images faster than MRI and offers superior resolution for cortical bone, calcifications, and acute haemorrhage, making it the preferred modality for certain clinical indications. Scan duration is typically under 15 minutes for a single region — significantly shorter than an equivalent MRI examination. Abdominal and organ-specific CT scans (liver, pancreas, kidneys, CT urography) are available at higher price tiers. Intravenous contrast medium can be added at DKK 950 when enhanced tissue and vascular visualisation is clinically required. All scans are reported by experienced radiologists and results can be shared with referring physicians.
