Shoulder MRI (Native)

MRI of a single shoulder covering rotator cuff, labrum, biceps tendon, and glenohumeral joint at 57,000 HUF.

The shoulder MRI at Buda Health Center uses dedicated coils to evaluate the rotator cuff tendons (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis), glenoid labrum, long head of biceps tendon, and glenohumeral joint capsule. Imaging planes include coronal oblique, sagittal oblique, and axial orientations. The radiologist reports on each rotator cuff tendon individually, grading tendinopathy, partial tears, and full-thickness tears. Labral pathology including SLAP and Bankart lesions is documented. The acromioclavicular joint and subacromial space are assessed for impingement features. At 57,000 HUF — the same flat rate as all other native joint MRI scans — this is competitively positioned in the Budapest market. Contrast-enhanced shoulder MRI at 104,000 HUF adds gadolinium for improved soft-tissue characterisation when the referring physician suspects labral pathology or complex rotator cuff tears.
