The multi-slice technique — often called MSCT — acquires thin consecutive slices perpendicular to the body axis, in contrast to the projected summation image produced by conventional X-ray. This allows even small abnormalities to be detected and reconstructed in three dimensions using sophisticated post-processing software. Radiation dose is kept low through modern dose-reduction protocols, calibrated to the body region being examined. Buda Health Center has operated its radiology department for over two decades, serving nearly 500,000 clients across its network. Board-certified radiologists prepare the written reports.
