Liposuction at Brandeis Clinic removes stubborn localised fat deposits that resist diet and exercise, using either standard tumescent liposuction or the SLIM LIPO laser-assisted technique. The clinic performs liposuction daily — a volume indicator that reflects both demand and surgical team experience. Main treatment areas include the double chin, abdomen and waist, flanks, outer and inner thighs, knees, and buttocks. The laser-assisted SLIM LIPO option can remove up to 5 litres of fat and is associated with faster recovery than standard liposuction because the laser energy helps seal small blood vessels as it works. Removed fat can be purified and transferred to other areas (fat grafting) for an additional fee.

About this treatment

Liposuction at Brandeis Clinic is performed with a frequency that reflects genuine procedural volume: the clinic's website notes daily liposuction performance, which in a single-surgeon setting suggests a high operative tempo and correspondingly high team familiarity with the procedure.

Standard tumescent liposuction

Before fat removal, a tumescent fluid (dilute local anaesthetic and adrenaline in saline) is infiltrated into the target area. The adrenaline causes vasoconstriction, which reduces intraoperative blood loss; the local anaesthetic contributes to post-operative analgesia. Small cannulas (2–4mm) are then inserted through 3–5mm incisions and used to mechanically break up and aspirate the fat. The cannula pattern is varied to create even, smooth fat removal…
