About this treatment
Scar treatment and skin lesion removal at BODY klinika are performed primarily with the clinic's CO2 fractional laser system, which allows precise ablation of targeted tissue while minimising damage to adjacent healthy skin. This selectivity accelerates healing compared with older surgical or full-ablation methods and reduces the risk of post-procedure hyperpigmentation.
For scars — whether from acne, surgery, trauma, or keloid formation — the fractional CO2 ablation removes the superficial layers of fibrotic tissue while its thermal effect stimulates the dermal remodelling process.
