About this treatment
Abdominoplasty addresses what diet and exercise cannot reverse: the stretched, loose skin and weakened abdominal wall that commonly follow pregnancy or substantial weight loss. BODY klinika recommends completing childbearing before undergoing abdominoplasty, and advises patients to be at or near their target weight before surgery, as the procedure is not a substitute for weight loss. Extremely overweight patients face higher operative and anaesthetic risk and may be advised to delay until a lower BMI is achieved.
For patients whose redundant skin is limited to the lower abdomen below the navel — with no significant upper-abdominal laxity and no muscle repair needed — the mini abdominoplasty (from 58,000 Kč) offers a shorter operating time, a smaller scar, and a faster recovery. The navel position does not change in a mini procedure.
