Ozone Therapy at Body Factory Olomouc applies controlled ozone and nitrogen oxide discharge topically to treat a range of skin and scalp conditions. The studio uses a specialist device with interchangeable applicators including a comb electrode for scalp work. The full 90-minute treatment can be configured for acne-prone skin, osmotic skin care, scalp oiliness or dandruff, post-depilation skin calming, nail bed care, or pore tightening when combined with ultrasonic tools. Ozone's strong oxidative action disrupts bacterial membranes and accelerates cellular turnover, while nitrogen oxide supports healing and inflammation modulation. A 20-minute standalone ultrasonic skin cleansing combined with ozone discharge is also available as an add-on or introductory session.
About this treatment
Ozone Therapy at Body Factory Olomouc uses a topical ozone-generating device to deliver controlled doses of ozone (O₃) and nitrogen oxide (NO) directly to the skin surface, scalp, or nail bed. Unlike systemic ozone therapies that involve ozonated IV saline or rectal insufflation, this is a strictly topical, non-invasive application with no systemic exposure.
The device works by generating high-frequency electrical discharge between an electrode and the skin surface, ionising the air in the gap to produce reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. The ozone produced has a short half-life — it degrades rapidly into oxygen — making it safe for topical application while delivering its antibacterial and pro-oxidant effects in the moment of contact.
