A thorough male health panel combining hormones, organ function, and key nutritional markers. Measures free and total testosterone alongside SHBG and estradiol to assess bioavailable testosterone. Includes PSA for prostate screening, full metabolic workup (liver, kidney, lipids, glucose), bone health markers (calcium, PTH, vitamin D), iron studies, and thyroid function. Designed to evaluate energy, performance, and overall wellbeing in men.
This panel is designed specifically for male physiology, combining a thorough hormonal assessment with metabolic, nutritional, and organ function markers. The hormonal component measures free and total testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, FSH, LH, and prolactin — providing a detailed picture of androgenic hormone status. Testosterone levels in men decline gradually from around age 30, and symptoms of low testosterone including reduced energy, decreased libido, and mood changes are frequently attributed to other causes without testing. PSA (prostate-specific antigen) screening is included as a baseline marker for prostate health. While PSA is not a definitive diagnostic tool, establishing a baseline value and tracking changes over time is considered a useful approach by many urologists. The metabolic workup covers liver function, kidney function, a full lipid panel, fasting glucose, CRP, and creatine kinase — the latter being relevant for men who train regularly, as persistently elevated CK may indicate muscle damage or overtraining. The bone health markers — calcium, phosphate, PTH, magnesium, vitamin D, and ionised calcium — are often overlooked in men's health screening but are important for long-term skeletal health and muscle function. Iron studies and thyroid function testing round out the panel, addressing two common causes of fatigue that are frequently underinvestigated in men. A morning blood draw before 10am is recommended because testosterone follows a circadian rhythm, peaking in the early morning. Testing later in the day may produce artificially lower readings that do not reflect true hormonal status.
