Microneedling

Microneedling at BellaDerma is a collagen-induction treatment that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This may support the skin's natural production of collagen and elastin, helping to refine texture, soften fine lines and improve the appearance of enlarged pores or mild scarring. The treatment is carried out at the clinic's Berlin-Charlottenburg centre and can be combined with PRP for a stronger effect. A short course of sessions is usually recommended, with mild redness expected for a day or two afterwards.

Microneedling at BellaDerma uses a dermapen or roller fitted with fine needles to create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin. This micro-injury triggers the skin's natural wound-healing response, which is associated with increased production of collagen and elastin over the following weeks. The treatment is suited to improving overall skin texture, softening fine lines, refining enlarged pores and reducing the appearance of mild acne scarring. At BellaDerma in Berlin-Charlottenburg, microneedling can be performed on its own or combined with platelet-rich plasma (the clinic's Vampir-Lifting), where your own PRP is worked into the freshly created channels to deepen the regenerative effect. A typical session lasts around an hour, including preparation; a numbing cream can be applied for comfort. Expect 24 to 48 hours of redness similar to mild sunburn, after which the skin settles. Because results build gradually, the clinic recommends a short course of around three sessions spaced several weeks apart, with full-face packages available. A consultation beforehand allows the team to tailor needle depth and serums to your skin and concerns. Sun protection afterwards is advised while the skin recovers.
