RF Microneedling (Scarlet S)

Scarlet S combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered into the skin to tighten laxity and improve texture more powerfully than microneedling alone. The radiofrequency heats the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen and firm the skin, making it well suited to early jowls, crêpey eye-area skin and the neck. A short course gives the most noticeable lifting and tightening.

Scarlet S is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system that pairs the collagen-stimulating effect of microneedling with controlled RF energy released from the needle tips into the deeper layers of the skin. While the micro-needles trigger the surface healing response, the radiofrequency heats the dermis to contract existing collagen and prompt new collagen and elastin formation — giving a firming, tightening effect that plain microneedling cannot achieve on its own. At Bednarek Clinic the area is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around forty-five to sixty minutes. Expect redness and a feeling of mild tightness or warmth for a day or two, with little other downtime. It is particularly useful for early skin laxity — softening jowls, firming the lower face and neck, and improving crêpey skin around the eyes — as well as enlarged pores and some scarring. Because results build as collagen remodels, a course of around three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended, with effects continuing to improve over the following months and maintenance once or twice a year. The clinic can also treat the neck, décolleté and certain body areas, and offers an ASCE+ exosome add-on to support recovery. Suitability, including for those with certain implanted electronic devices, is assessed by the physician at consultation, and the treatment is avoided in pregnancy.
