Labiaplasty at BEAUTY – plastická chirurgie reduces and reshapes enlarged or asymmetrical labia minora that cause physical chafing, discomfort during exercise, or self-consciousness. MUDr. Šorma performs the procedure under local anaesthesia as an outpatient; an analgosedation or general anaesthesia option is available for patients who prefer deeper sedation. The standard bilateral procedure includes local anaesthesia, post-operative bandaging, and all follow-up appointments. Scheduling is recommended after menstruation ends. Recovery limits prolonged sitting and driving for approximately one week.
Labiaplasty is the surgical reduction and reshaping of the labia minora — the inner vaginal lips. The most common presentation at consultation is hypertrophy: labial tissue that extends beyond the labia majora, causing friction during physical activity, difficulty with hygiene, discomfort during sexual intercourse, or practical difficulties with tight-fitting clothing. Asymmetry — where one labium is substantially larger or differently shaped than the other — is also a common reason for seeking correction. Both physical and aesthetic motivations are valid indications for the procedure. MUDr. Šorma conducts the pre-operative consultation with attention to the patient's specific anatomy and goals. The two most widely used surgical techniques are the edge trim (where excess tissue is excised along the labial edge) and the wedge resection (where a V-shaped segment is removed from the central portion of the labium, preserving the natural labial edge contour and reducing the likelihood of straight-edge scar tightening). The technique is selected based on the amount and distribution of excess tissue and on whether preserving the natural frilled labial edge is a priority for the patient. The standard procedure is performed under local anaesthesia on an outpatient basis at the Poliklinika Trnová clinic; the local anaesthetic injection is the most uncomfortable part, and the tissue dissection itself is painless once anaesthesia takes effect. For patients with significant anxiety or who prefer to be unaware of the procedure entirely, analgosedation or general anaesthesia is available at a higher price tier. Sutures used are dissolvable — no suture removal is required. Post-operative care focuses on keeping the area clean; prolonged sitting, car travel, cycling, and sexual activity are avoided for approximately one week. The procedure is scheduled after menstruation to allow the tissue to heal without the disturbance of a period during the initial recovery window. Complications are uncommon when performed by an experienced surgeon: temporary asymmetry from differential swelling resolves as oedema settles over two to four weeks. The quoted prices include local anaesthesia, post-operative bandaging, and all follow-up consultations.
