The clinic's physicians use mesothreads — very fine PDO threads that create a scaffold of new collagen fibres around small surface wrinkles — and structural lifting threads with barbs or cones that mechanically reposition deeper tissue and support larger lifted areas. Zones treated include the eye area, forehead, face, neck, décolletage, arms, thighs, abdomen and buttocks. No incisions, no general anaesthesia, immediate return to activities.

Thread lifting is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure that bridges the gap between injectable treatments and surgical face-lifting, offering a degree of tissue repositioning and long-term collagen stimulation that injectables cannot provide, without the recovery period or general anaesthesia of surgery. At Beauty Clinic Synergy, two categories of absorbable thread are available. Mesothreads are ultra-fine monofilament PDO (polydioxanone) threads with a diameter of 0.1–0.2 mm, inserted into the most superficial dermal layers via a fine needle in a grid or diagonal pattern over the target zone. Their primary mechanism is not mechanical lifting but collagen induction: as the thread dissolves over 8–10 months, the chronic foreign-body response it generates in the dermis continuously stimulates fibroblasts to deposit new collagen fibres around the thread's path. The cumulative effect is a thickening and tightening of the treated dermal layer — useful for fine periorbital lines, lip vertical lines, forehead lines and décolletage textural improvement. Lifting threads (including mono-filament with cones, tornado and barbed variants) are coarser threads inserted at a deeper subdermal or SMAS-adjacent level using a longer cannula or needle. The barbs or cones grip the subcutaneous tissue and are retracted to physically move the tissue superiorly or laterally, achieving immediate visible repositioning of the face, jowls, neck, brow or cheeks. The lift is maintained by the same collagen-induction mechanism as the mesothreads — as the thread body dissolves, a fibrous replacement scaffold forms that sustains the correction for up to two years in many patients. Local tumescent anaesthesia is administered before insertion to minimise discomfort; the procedure itself takes 30–60 minutes depending on the number and type of threads used. Post-procedure, mild swelling and bruising are expected for 3–7 days; patients are advised to avoid sun exposure for two weeks, sauna for three weeks and facial massage for four weeks.
