RF Microneedling (Virtue RF)

Virtue RF combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered into the skin to tighten laxity and improve texture more powerfully than microneedling alone. The radiofrequency heats the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen, making it well suited to early jowls, crêpey skin and the neck, as well as body areas such as the abdomen, thighs and arms. A short course gives the most noticeable lifting and firming.

Virtue RF is a radiofrequency microneedling system that pairs the collagen-stimulating effect of microneedling with controlled radiofrequency energy released from the needle tips into the deeper layers of the skin. While the micro-needles trigger the surface repair response, the radiofrequency heats the dermis in a way that is associated with contracting existing collagen and prompting new collagen and elastin formation — giving a firming, tightening effect that plain microneedling cannot achieve on its own. At Beauty Care Clinic the area is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around forty-five minutes to an hour. Expect redness and a feeling of mild tightness or warmth for a day or two, with little other downtime. On the face it is particularly useful for early skin laxity — softening jowls, firming the lower face and improving crêpey skin — and it can be extended to the neck and décolletage.
