Treatment starts with a discussion of your goals — more hydration and a tidier border, a little extra volume, or correction of asymmetry — and a suitable amount of product is agreed, typically up to one millilitre of Neauvia filler in a single session.
A strong topical anaesthetic is applied and the filler itself contains lidocaine, so the procedure is generally well tolerated. The gel is placed with a fine needle or cannula and shaped by hand; results are immediate, though lips commonly swell for a day or two and small bruises can occur, with the final shape clear within one to two weeks.
