Platelet-rich plasma injected into the scalp to support hair follicles and reduce shedding in early-stage thinning. Using growth factors concentrated from your own blood, it aims to strengthen existing hair and prolong the growth phase. It is best suited to early or moderate thinning rather than long-established baldness, works best as a course, and can be combined with the clinic's Dr Cyj Hair Filler and microneedling protocols.

About this treatment

PRP for hair loss applies the same regenerative principle as PRP for skin, focused on the scalp. A small blood sample is spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which are then injected across the thinning areas of the scalp. The growth factors are associated with improved blood supply to the hair follicles and a prolonged active growth phase, which may help reduce excessive shedding and support existing hair looking thicker and healthier.

At Beata Pawelec Medycyna Estetyczna the session takes around thirty to forty-five minutes, with the scalp numbed for comfort, and there is essentially no downtime beyond possible mild tenderness. Founded and led by lek. Beata Pawelec, a physician who graduated from the Pomeranian Medical Academy and received her medical diploma in 2009.
