Type
MRI Scan
Duration
25 min
Native MRI of a single shoulder covering the rotator cuff, glenoid labrum, biceps tendon, and glenohumeral joint. Assessment for impingement, tears, and instability.
The shoulder MRI at Bader-MR is optimised for resolving the fine anatomy of the rotator cuff tendons, glenoid labrum, and long head of the biceps tendon. Imaging planes are aligned to the supraspinatus tendon axis for optimal cuff visualisation. The radiologist reports on each rotator cuff tendon individually, grading any tendinopathy, partial-thickness or full-thickness tears with measurements of retraction and fatty infiltration. The labrum is assessed for SLAP and Bankart lesions. Subacromial bursal fluid and acromioclavicular joint arthropathy are also documented. For patients requiring MR arthrography (intra-articular contrast injection for improved labral assessment), this is available at EUR 340. The standard native scan is priced at EUR 290.
