A tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the jaw. It may be needed when a tooth is broken below the gum, severely decayed, loosened by gum disease, or when a wisdom tooth is impacted and causing pain, infection or crowding. A straightforward (non-surgical) extraction removes a tooth that is fully erupted and accessible, while a surgical extraction is used for teeth that are broken at the gum line or buried in the bone, and involves a small incision to reach and remove the tooth. Local anaesthesia is included at no extra charge, and the surgeon provides clear aftercare instructions to support healing and reduce the risk of complications. Pricing is staged according to difficulty: 350–600 zł for a non-surgical extraction, 700–1,000 zł for a non-surgical wisdom-tooth removal, and 1,000–1,500 zł for the surgical removal of an impacted wisdom tooth. Extraction is associated with relieving pain and preventing further problems when a tooth cannot be restored; where a tooth is being lost, the team can also discuss replacement options such as an implant at the same consultation.
