Botulinum toxin injections temporarily relax the muscles that create dynamic expression lines, softening frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet. At AURUM the treatment is offered as part of the clinic's medical services and priced by the number of areas treated. The same injectable is also used to reduce excessive underarm sweating. Treatment is quick, with results developing over the following days and lasting a few months.
About this treatment
Botulinum toxin is an injectable treatment that temporarily reduces the activity of specific facial muscles. By easing how strongly a muscle contracts, the skin over it creases less, so dynamic lines — those that appear with movement, such as frown lines between the brows, horizontal forehead lines and crow's feet at the eyes — are softened. The effect is targeted to the chosen areas while leaving natural expression elsewhere intact.
At Centrum Medyczne AURUM the treatment is delivered as a brief appointment using a very fine needle, with the number of areas agreed beforehand: one area is 550 zł, two areas 1,050 zł and three areas 1,550 zł.
