Preparation Required
Avoid alcohol and heavy meals 2–3 hours before each session. Wear comfortable clothing without metal fastenings or strong fragrances. Inform staff of any cold/flu symptoms — ear-equalisation can be uncomfortable when congested. Bring a water bottle. Sessions are not advised during pregnancy, with active middle-ear infection, untreated pneumothorax, or recent ear surgery. Most clients space the 10 sessions over 2–4 weeks; ATAmed does not impose a fixed cadence.
