About this treatment
ATAmed's standard 60-minute HBOT session takes place inside the clinic's standard hard-shell chamber at ul. Świętokrzyska 18, gabinet 323 in central Warsaw. The chamber operates at 1.6 ATA — above the 1.3–1.4 ATA tier of inflatable wellness chambers and below the ≥2.0 ATA clinical tier delivered in ATAmed's separate high-pressure chamber. The clinic is EBASS-certified and self-describes as the only commercial hyperbaric facility in Warsaw and Mazovia.
The standard chamber has a rigid construction with panoramic glass, air conditioning, and is explicitly configured to allow a guardian to accompany a child during treatment, which is part of why ATAmed's caseload includes paediatric neuro-rehabilitation indications. During each session patients can listen to music or watch films through the chamber's media setup.
This 60-minute single-session bundle is the entry-level standard-chamber option at 199 PLN. Per-session it is the most expensive of the three standard-chamber bundles offered as one-offs (199 PLN at 60 min vs 299 PLN at 90 min and 399 PLN at 120 min), and substantially more expensive per session than the multi-session packs (5× at 159.80/session, 10× at 159.90/session including a free extra hour, 15× at 133.27/session). Who is this for?
First-time visitors who want to try the standard chamber before committing to a multi-session pack, or visitors with a one-off recovery goal (post-event athlete recovery, short stress-recovery window). Not appropriate for clinical-grade indications that require the high-pressure chamber — ATAmed lists a separate 90-minute up-to-3.2 ATA option at 450 PLN for that case.
Preparation required
Avoid alcohol and heavy meals 2–3 hours before. Wear comfortable clothing without metal fastenings or strong fragrances. Inform staff of any cold/flu symptoms — ear-equalisation can be uncomfortable when congested. Bring a water bottle. Sessions are not advised during pregnancy, with active middle-ear infection, untreated pneumothorax, or recent ear surgery. Discuss any medical conditions with the clinic before booking.
