HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) with the Ultraformer MPT system delivers focused ultrasound energy to multiple tissue depths, including the superficial dermis, deep dermis, and the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) layer — the same anatomical plane targeted in surgical facelifts. Thermal coagulation points at the SMAS level trigger a sustained wound-healing and collagen contraction response, gradually lifting and tightening the skin over 2–3 months post-treatment. Each session takes approximately 30 minutes, with 0–1 day of downtime. Results develop progressively, peaking at 2–3 months, and lasting 9–12 months. One to three sessions per year is typical. Morpheus8 is an FDA-cleared fractional RF microneedling device that combines microneedles penetrating to 4mm depth with radiofrequency energy delivery. The combination heats deep dermal and subdermal layers, causing immediate collagen contraction and a sustained neocollagenesis response over 3–6 months. Morpheus8 is highly effective for facial skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne scarring, and textural irregularity.
