Pico Laser delivers ultra-short picosecond pulses that shatter pigment particles and melanin clusters into micro-fragments, which are then cleared by the immune system. The photoacoustic mechanism also creates controlled micro-injury that stimulates collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture and reducing acne scars. Pico Laser is suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types common in Singapore and has 0–3 days of downtime, with sessions typically taking 15–20 minutes. Yellow Laser (577 nm) specifically targets vascular pigmentation and redness, making it well suited for treating rosacea, facial flushing, port wine stains, spider veins, and persistent redness post-acne. Its wavelength is absorbed selectively by oxyhaemoglobin with minimal epidermal absorption, allowing precise vascular treatment with little surrounding tissue damage. It is the most effective laser option for deep acne scars, ice-pick scars, and boxcar scars but requires 3–7 days of downtime. Typically 5–10 sessions are needed over 6–12 months.
