For mild acne — primarily blackheads, whiteheads, and a small number of papules — the clinic offers the Helios Carbon Acne Laser Peel and the Stellar M22 OPT (Optimal Pulse Technology) Acne Treatment. For moderate acne involving larger papules and pustules, Dr. Wong may prescribe topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide combinations, or topical antibiotics alongside the Helios Acne Laser Toning protocol. Laser toning targets sebaceous gland activity at the dermal level, reducing oil production and decreasing the inflammatory load in acne-prone skin. Oral antibiotics (doxycycline or lymecycline) are added when topical therapy alone is insufficient.
