Blood testing at AsiaMedic spans a broad range of clinical categories, from routine annual panels to highly specialised longevity and cancer detection markers. The laboratory investigations form the analytical backbone of every health screening package offered at the centre, ensuring that imaging findings are always contextualised against the patient's biochemistry. Core panels routinely included across AsiaMedic's Navigator packages cover the full blood count (FBC) to assess red cell, white cell, and platelet populations; a lipid profile measuring total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides; liver function tests (LFTs) including ALT, AST, GGT, and bilirubin; renal function tests (RFTs) covering urea, creatinine, and eGFR; fasting blood glucose and glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) for diabetes screening; thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH); and a urinalysis with microscopy. Higher-tier packages and the Longevity Screening Programme add specialist markers: tumour panels including AFP, CEA, CA 19-9 (gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancers), PSA for men (prostate cancer), CA 125 and CA 15-3 for women (ovarian and breast cancer). The Longevity Package introduces the multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood test based on circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) analysis, which can screen for signals of over 50 cancer types from a single blood draw. Nutritional and hormonal profiling is available across selected tiers, covering 25-OH Vitamin D (deficiency screening), Vitamin B12, folate, ferritin (iron stores), and full hormonal profiles including testosterone, DHEA-S, oestradiol, and cortisol for age-related hormonal decline. These panels are particularly valued by patients enrolled in the Longevity Screening programme seeking a complete metabolic picture alongside imaging.
