Invisalign

Ashford Dental Centre is an Invisalign provider offering clear aligner orthodontic treatment across their Singapore clinics. Invisalign uses a series of custom-manufactured, removable transparent aligners — changed approximately every one to two weeks — to gradually shift teeth into the prescribed position without metal brackets or wires.

Treatment begins with a 3D digital scan of the patient's dentition using iTero or equivalent intraoral scanning technology, which generates a ClinCheck simulation showing projected tooth movements and the anticipated outcome. This digital treatment plan is submitted to Align Technology for manufacture of the full aligner series before treatment begins.

Invisalign is suitable for a wide range of malocclusions including crowding, spacing, crossbites, overbites, underbites, and open bites, though severe skeletal discrepancies may still require conventional orthodontics or orthognathic surgery. Aligners are worn for 20–22 hours per day and removed only for eating, drinking (other than water), and oral hygiene.
